Our online shop provides products crafted with utmost care and precision by artisans and weavers from all over India. We are committed to promote the traditional craftsman of India and its weavers by giving them due recognition and value. With our products, we strive to bring happiness, comfort, confidence, and style to the customers. Our ethical production practices have been appreciated and admired by many around the globe. We are proud to be a part of the weaving revolution by connecting artisans and weavers from all over India in a thread called Weave Sutra. 

Our story

With a background in social work and a long association with various NGOs working for the upliftment of the poor, particularly women, I was driven to create a platform that not only promotes the work of Indian artisans but also helps them achieve financial stability. Throughout my journey, I have encountered numerous women who are survivors of domestic violence, often due to their financial instability and poverty. Witnessing their struggles and resilience, I was motivated to support and empower them by leveraging the rich tradition of handcrafted products in India. To explore the possibilities in the area of handcrafted products, I embarked on a journey across various parts of India. During my travels, I had the opportunity to work with women and connect them with nearby skill training programs and institutions. Presently, I am proudly working with over a hundred artisans from all over India and continuously strive to include more talented individuals in our team. My venture, Weave Sutra, serves as a medium through which I aim to unite these weavers in a thread of weave and teach them the "sutra" formula to become financially independent. Weave Sutra is not just a platform, but a mission to make these artisans financially stable.
